Simply Music has created a special workshop version of its first level materials. Using this abridged program, you now have the opportunity to learn how to play a number of great-sounding contemporary, classical, gospel, blues and accompaniment pieces, as well as variations and improvisation — immediately — with only a short-term commitment of your time!

And just as with ongoing lessons, this beginner’s workshop is great for students of all ages!

Workshop vs. Ongoing Lessons?

The more likely you believe you are to pursue ongoing lessons, the more we’d encourage you to do so from the start. This is because, compared to the workshop, the standard Simply Music curriculum:

• Presents material in a different order, better fostering your long-term musical development and increasing the chances of your being and feeling successful at each step.
• Can be paced for a particular group/student, which also contributes to development and success, while the workshop usually must cover material in a particular amount of time.
• Includes all the material from the workshop, so starting straightaway with ongoing lessons means not also having an obsolete set of workshop materials.

However, the less sure you are about doing ongoing lessons, the more the workshop will be right for you! The particular material covered has been carefully selected from the standard curriculum to give you a great experience in a short time. And when your workshop is done, you can even receive a credit toward your first set of standard curriculum materials if you’d like to stay on for ongoing lessons.
